CPR Training
Our services include all forms of CPR training, from CPR for family and friends, a course designed for the lay public, to CPR for healthcare providers.

ACLS and PALS
Our Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support courses have won acclaim from former students. We provide complete American Heart Association ACLS and PALS courses at your facility, on dates and times convenient to you and your staff, in a fun and stress-free atmosphere.

Public Access Defibrillation
We provide complete, turn-key, Automated External Defibrillator programs for businesses, corporations, and schools, as well as for physicians' and dentists' offices.

Our instructors come to your facility and train your personnel in the 4-hour American Heart Association Heartsaver AED course.

We provide active physician oversight and quality assurance (as required by article 30 of the New York State public health law), by a board-certified emergency medicine physician who is a nationally recognized expert in AED program administration. We complete, file, and maintain all required documentation with the Regional EMS Council. Every 6 months, we return to your facility to “refresh” your personnel in CPR/AED use. Whenever an AED is used to treat a cardiac victim we download the information from the device, forward the required Quality Assurance data to the State Health Department, and provide an on-site debriefing session for your personnel involved in the event.

We guide you through every phase of the operation, from performing an on-site walk-through to determine the ideal number of AEDs appropriate for your institution and their recommended location/s, to helping you chose the most appropriate and cost-efficient type of AED. Since we are vendor-neutral, we train your personnel with the specific model of AED that you purchase.

Home Defibrillation
Health Training/Consulting is pleased to announce the availability of the first training program in New York State for the Philips HeartStart Home Defibrillator, a new portable defibrillator designed specifically for use in the home.

Published studies show that more than 70 percent of sudden cardiac arrests occur in the home. The HeartStart Home Defibrillator is ideal for those who wish to be able to help save the life of a friend or relative who suffers cardiac arrest at home.

Dr. Sciammarella and Claire DeSetto were among a select group of AED Trainers designated as Preferred Providers in the HeartStart Home Defibrillation Training Network, after attending the workshop held recently on Long Island.

The defibrillator is available to consumers with a physician's prescription. Health Training Consulting will prescribe the defibrillator for you, assist you in obtaining the unit, and provide training in your home on this new life-saving device.
